Who manages the community?
The board of directors often engages contractors to perform various maintenance jobs.
- The members elect a board of directors, which makes the day-to-day decisions. This way decisions may be made efficiently and in the best interest of the group
- The co-op may contract for certain tasks (including bill paying, snow plowing and other various community maintenance tasks).
- The Management Company oversees contractors to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the contract.
